The following is a list of episodes for the animated series Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders.
There are two seasons, each with 13 episodes. The first season (originally aired in 1995) begins with "Jewel Quest, Part I" and ends with "Full Circle". The second one (1996) begins with "Morgana" and ends with "The Last Dance" ("The One Jewel").

Season one[]

The evil Lady Kale, a former Princess of Avalon who has been banished from the Crystal Palace by the good wizard Merlin, obtains the powerful Dark Stone and attempts to gain control of the Crown Jewels—seven mystic stones which bind the magic of the kingdom to good. Kale plans to use the magic of these jewels to turn Avalon into a dark realm and rule it for all of eternity. After Merlin refuses to give her the key to the Jewel Box in which the Crown Jewels are stored and scatters the jewels all across kingdom and beyond, she casts him into the perilous Wild Magic to perish there. With Merlin now gone, Kale's magic begins to spread chaos in the realm as she plans to twist it into her own dark domain.
But Merlin can still save their kingdom from evil and get the wild magic under control. As he vanished, Merlin put all his trust in the Jewel Riders—his three students and inexperienced Enchanted Jewels users. The only way these young champions overcome Kale's dark magic and save their mentor is to find all seven Crown Jewels, now hidden through the seven lands. Princess Gwenevere (using the Sun Stone and paired with with Sunstar), Fallon with (using the Moon Stone and paired with Moondance), and Tamara (using the Heart Stone), aided by Merlin's owl Archie and by Drake and the Pack, thus embark on a great quest as they search for these lost stones to get them secured before Kale can steal them away—and, in the end, hopefully rid the world of her dark magic and let the exiled Merlin return to Avalon.
1-1. Jewel Quest, Part I (script)[]
The time has come for Princess Gwenevere to enter the revered Circle of Friendship ceremony and bond with the Sun Stone, sharing it with her own magic animal. But the peace in Avalon is disturbed when the evil outlaw princess Lady Kale finds the powerful Dark Stone and attacks Merlin, sending the good wizard into the hidden realms of Wild Magic. She steals the magical Jewel Box where the Crown Jewels are kept and plans to use them to reign over Avalon forever. The Jewel Riders find out about it and try to stop Kale before it is too late.
1-2. Jewel Quest, Part II (script)[]
In the first part, the evil Lady Kale has found the Dark Stone, banished Merlin, and kidnapped Sunstar the winged unicorn, but the Jewel Riders were able to secure the key to the Jewel Box. Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders, aided by their male counterparts, The Pack, embark on a rescue mission to save Sunstar from Kale's Castle Thornwood. Kale demands the key to the Jewel Box in exchange for the captive unicorn, but Merlin at last moment uses his remaining powers to scatter the Seven Crown Jewels to their original lands and the Jewel Riders manage to set Sunstar free. In order to become a Jewel Rider, Gwenevere enters the revered Circle of Friendship to bond with Sunstar as her magical animal, sharing the Sun Stone with her. But with the Crown Jewels gone from Merlin's Jewel Box, the Wild Magic in Avalon is no longer stable and a great quest to recover the lost Crown Jewels begins.
1-3. Travel Trees Can't Dance (script)[]
After the events of previous episode, the wild magic in Avalon is no longer stable and the Travel Trees are being affected as well. It has become very tricky to ride the magic, and Princess Gwenevere and her flying unicorn Sunstar get separated from the Jewel Riders by a wild magic outbreak in the Northwoods part of the Great Forests. To make things worse, Lady Kale follows them to source of the outbreak so she could steal the Jewel of the Northwoods. The Jewel Riders discover that Jewel is being used for evil and fight to reclaim it.
1-4. Song of the Rainbow (script)[]
Tamara is caught in an enchantment when she plays a beautiful harp given to her at a craft fair and the music leads her to Rainbow Falls in the Riverdells where one of the Crown Jewels, the Rainbow Jewel, has returned. Meanwhile, however, Kale has designs on the jewel and so she creates some dangerous magic of her own. Gwenevere and Fallon embark on the quest to save Tamara from going into weird trances and to find the Rainbow Jewel before Kale does, and learn what happened to the jewel upon returning to the land.
1-5. Wizard's Peak (script)[]
The Jewel Riders and the Pack go on a quest to the Crystal Cliffs to find an ancient mountain called Wizard's Peak and recover Jewel of Burning Ice. After an ambush by Lady Kale, they separate into two groups. Fallon and the Pack lure Kale away, but Gwen and Drake soon find themselves trapped in a labyrinth of ice caverns. Trying to locate the jewel, the Jewel Riders find instead the magical genie Guardian intent on protecting the magical treasures of the ancient Wizards. Tamara and the baby animals must come to the rescue before Kale does arrive.
1-6. For Whom the Bell Trolls[]
Deep inside the Misty Moors, the boys of the Pack are turned into frogs by a troll who has discovered the wild magic of the Misty Rose Crown Jewel. The Jewel Riders must reach the boys before the mischievous little troll can turn them into frog stew. Tamara cooks up a plan to get everyone out of hot water and find the stone. The Jewel Riders must figure out the answers to the riddles of the troll in order to rescue the boys. However, a talking swan waddles off with the Crown Jewel, unaware of the Wild Magic havoc it was causing on its trail. The girls will have to recover the jewel and restore the Misty Moors to normal, including the true forms of the troll and swan.
1-7. The Faery Princess (script)[]
A lost faery, Princess Wisp of Faeryland, needs help to find her way home and save her kingdom from the growing chaos of wild magic — and from Lady Kale's plan to rule it. Wisp, Faery King Odeon's daughter, went after her lost flock of magic sheep. The sheep became affected by the Wild Magic, turning into "biker-sheeps" through a rainbow passage to the Great Deserts of Avalon. Lost in the desert, Wisp comes across the Travel Trees that took her to Crystal Palace where she meets the Jewel Riders. Together they discover a secret passage into Faeryland. The Jewel Riders must find the Desert Star Crown Jewel to deliver the faery folk from evil and return goodness to this realm, but the problem is that it is an alternate dimension where magic works differently.
1-8. Badlands (script)[]
Fallon with Moondance just won a race against the Pack when Tamara informs her that the Riders are to go with Princess Gwenevere to a party celerbrating a newborn. Fallon did not wish to leave the Pack's training games for the party that caused a heated argument between her and Gwen. Gwen, Fallon and Tamara all go to escort a trading caravan through a canyon across the Badlands to the party at Castle Greenwood. In the caravan are Fallon's parents who disapprove of her being a Jewel Rider, leading Fallon to hate Gwen for forcing her to see them again. When to hey are ambushed by Lady Kale and a band of Outlaws, Fallon will have to put aside her anger and save Gwen. Rescuing the Princess and protecting the caravan, Fallon proves to her parents that she excels as a Jewel Rider and her parents come to accept her choice.
1-9. Home Sweet Heart Stone (script)[]
Tamara is called by her parents to Heartland Animal Farm to examine a legendary magical animal recently discovered, a prism fox. However, Lady Kale hears the news and now she desires it as one of her magic animals. Using enchanted bagpipes and other instruments, she plays a song to lure away all the animals from the farm, only to discover that her prize is just a baby prism fox named Kit. Now Tamara and friends will have to use their own music and magic to defeat Kale, bring the animals back home, and reunite Kit with her parents in the Wild Magic.
1-10. Love Struck[]
Drake finds the talking magic sword Magic Sword of Garmondale in a tree at a carnival. Hungry for magic from the Enchanted Jewels of the Jewel Riders, the sword promises Drake that any women will now fall madly in love with him. With the sword as his love coach, Drake tries some unusual magic love poems out on each of the Jewel Riders. The girls, sensing a trick, turn the tables on Drake by pretending to go along with "his" ruse. As the sword drains away the riders' magic, the girls and Drake will have to outwit the sword to force it back to its original state.
1-11. Dreamfields (script)[]
The Jewel Riders must track down the final missing Crown Jewel by chasing it through a series of dreams. In the Dreamfields of the Great Plains, Princess Gwenevere finds herself caught in a battle of dreams with Lady Kale who is also trying to find a Crown Jewel. In a wild dream, Kale switches Gwen's Sun Stone with her Dark Stone and thus a dream world is created in which Gwenevere has become evil, and her aunt has become good. Using the power of the Crown Jewel of the Dreamfields, the two must discover who they really are before it is too late, and Gwen must rely on her friends to help her fight the nightmares of the Dark Stone.
1-12. Revenge of the Dark Stone (script)[]
Just when the Jewel Riders try to find the last Crown Jewel and complete the magic of Merlin’s Jewel Box, Lady Kale disguises herself as Queen Anya and sneaks into the Crystal Palace, where she seizes the Jewel Keep and with it the Jewel Box, as well all the magic jewels stored there. Using their powers to create a dangerous "antimagic" device, Kale time-freezes all of New Camelot and begins working on taking over all of the magic in Avalon.
1-13. Full Circle (script)[]
When the Jewel Riders found the final Jewel, Kale magically transported it into her hands and stripped them of their powers. The girls were helpless to stop Kale from proclaiming herself the new Queen of Avalon. But even with Avalon cast in darkness, the Jewel Riders refuse to give up and return to the Friendship Ring to perform the Circle of Friendship ceremony again. Then with their jewels recharged, they enter the Wild Magic, led by their friend Kit and special creatures called magic gliders, to find Merlin. Merlin reveals that the Crystal Palace itself is an Enchanted Jewel with great powers of goodness, but then Kale also finds him. While he battles Kale in the Wild Magic over the control of the key to the Jewel Box, the girls go back to release the magic of the Crystal Palace and restore Avalon. Lady Kale is destroyed, but to achieve this, Merlin has sacrificed his magic jewel and he cannot come back.
Season two[]
The Jewel Riders have prevailed in the Jewel Quest, but Merlin remains stranded within the Wild Magic. What is more, they soon find out that not only Kale is back but now she has a very dangerous new ally—a newly revived evil queen Morgana, once the leader of ancient wizards. The two hatch a plan to gain control of legendary Wizard Jewels to at last destroy Merlin and rule Avalon and all the wild magic. Meanwhile, Merlin's Jewel Riders champions discover that having the Crown Jewels tuned to their own Enchanted Jewels have given them greater powers, too. Tamara also soon gets paired with her new special friend and own steed, Shadowsong.
Thus begins the quest for the the magic jewels that can return either Morgana or Merlin to Avalon. In a race against the forces of darkness, the Jewel Riders have to master their new magic and get the stones first for the goodness to prevail. The time has come for them and their friends, old and new, to become the true heroes and free Avalon of dark magic once and for all.
2-1. (14.) Morgana (script)[]
The Jewel Riders learn about the newly enhanced magic of their Enchanted Jewels and of a new quest to find the special Wizard Jewels that can give Merlin back his magical powers and return him home. Meanwhile, in the Wild Magic, the ancient wizard Morgana finds her Dark Stone, but realizes that she can not control it because it has been tuned to Lady Kale, who has materialized along with it, so Morgana makes a deal with her to work with her against the Jewel Riders and retrieve the powerful Wizard Jewels. The Jewel Riders return to the Hall of Wizards at the Wizard Peak, where they face Morgana's powers for the first time.
2-2. (15.) Shadowsong (script)[]
Using maps found in Merlin’s cottage, the Jewel Riders ride the Wild Magic looking for Wizard Jewels. However the Travel Trees cannot handle their new magic and they must travel through the Wild Magic on their own. Tamara finds a place that registers strong magic and the Jewel Riders head there with Magic gliders as their guides, leading them to the world of the Ice Wastes. But Morgana has set a trap that send Gwen, Sunstar, Fallon, Moondance and Archie to a place where she can steal the magic of their Enchanted Jewels. Meanwhile, Tamara is sent to another place in the Wild Magic where she makes friends with a frightened magical zebracorn named Shadowsong, who was self-conscious about his appearance. Tamara and Shadowsong form a strong bond and must go to the rescue of the other Jewel Riders from Morgana.
2-3. (16.) Fashion Fever (script)[]
It is high fashion and high-jinx as the annual charity fashion show opens at the Crystal Palace fair grounds for Queen Anya's birthday. King Jaredwants to surprise Anya with a new dress and assigns Gwenevere and Sunstar to handle it, but the Princess manages to get Fallon, Moondance, Tamara and Tamara's baby animals involved in a comedy of errors as each girl and animal tries their best to complete the mission. Meanwhile, Lady Kale sneaks into the show to sneaks into the show to learn of the Jewel Riders' plans, creating a style-shifting dress too magical for Gwen to resist. When Gwen puts the dress on, she falls under a spell that the Jewel Riders must break before Gwen leads her evil aunt into the Jewel Keep.
2-4. (17.) Wizard of Gardenia (script)[]
In the magical gardens of Gardenia, a gardener gnome named Chance fools the Jewel Riders into thinking that he is one of the great wizards from Avalon's past, and capable of great magic. The gnome has the ability to sculpt magical topiary animals that transform into crystal creatures. When the Jewel Riders discover that Chance is not what he appears to be (actually merely a wizard's apprentice), they convince him to help them retrieve a powerful Wizard Jewel from a dangerous place called the Sorcerer's Playground before Kale and Morgana can get it.
2-5. (18.) Vale of the Unicorns (script)[]
The unicorns, the most magical animals in Avalon, are in danger. Sierra, the Queen of the unicorns, is missing and a successor must take her place. The leadership must fall upon one of her relatives. Moondance, daughter of Sierra, must go to the magical place and preform a series of tests to determine whether she should become the new Queen. The Jewel Riders journey to the enchanted lands of the unicorns to learn about the mysterious secret of their magic. Moondance must choose where her loyalties lie, becoming the new Queen of the unicorns or staying with her best friend, Fallon.
2-6. (19.) Prince of the Forest (script)[]
While searching for wondrous faery wraiths in the Forests of Arden, Princess Gwenevere finds romance and magic with a with a strange boy named Ian. Hearing Gwen’s cry for help, Ian rescues the Princess from a marsh mire. However, the young man does not reveal to her the wondrous magic jewel he has recently found and which enabled him to transform from a beast to a human boy. He must decide what to do because Lady Kale has offered him the chance to remain human forever, if he gives her the magic jewel.
2-7. (20.) The Wishing Jewel[]
Gwenevere and Drake get lost in the misty walls that surround Avalon and discover a new magical but dangerous place outside the borders of the kingdom. Lost, they must work together to unravel a riddle told to them by the magic trees that live in this secret place. Gwen and Drake must search for a magic Wishing Jewel that will turn this land to goodness and extend the borders of Avalon before the wild magic causes this place to vanish completely.
2-8. (21.) Jewel of the Sea[]
Princess Gwenevere, Sunstar, and the Jewel Riders embark on a great sea voyage to a magical island where a Wizard Jewel has landed. Sailing over the great Sea of Avalon, the Jewel Riders get caught in a wild magic water ride and discover an underwater kingdom of mercreatures. When Cleo falls overboard, she is rescued by a merboy and transformed into a sea unicorn. The merboy trades his mer-jewel with Tamara's Heart Stone. He becomes human, but Tamara is transformed into a mermaid. Can the Jewel Riders find the magic to transform Tamara back?
2-9. (22.) Trouble in Elf Town[]
Three mischievous trolls find new Enchanted Jewels in the Wild Magic and use them to steal all of the Elf Magic from the Elf Woods. The Jewel Riders ride into town and look for a show down with the Trolls to save the Elves.
2-10. (23.) Mystery Island (script)[]
The gliders tell the Jewel Riders a creature is crying from somewhere in the Wild Magic and Tamara convinces the Jewel Riders to go and rescue it. The girls ride into the Wild Magic and discover a lost isle in the Junglend”. But their enemiare re looking for magical Wizard Je and l. Morgana sends Kale to follow them. The Jewel Riders find a giant creature who, amazingly, only responds to the baby animals. It is up to Cleo, Sugar and Spike to save the ale.
2-11. (24.) The Fortune Jewel (script)[]
A fortune teller named Esmerelda and her mysterious cat use the Fortune Jewel to tell people’s fortunes. When the Jewel Riders have their fortunes read, a dark future is revealed to Gwenevere that tells of the fall of the Crystal Palace and the rise of Morgana to rule Avalon. Gwen and her friends must get this magic jewel to the Jewel Keep and out of Lady Kale's and Morgana’s hands. However, when they fall into a magical trap of Kale, the cat's secret is revealed, being really the ancient wizard Derek who has lost his human form when he was tricked by Morgana. Will Esmerelda and her cat decide to give the jewel to the Riders, or to Morgana?
2-12. (25.) Lady of the Lake (Spirit of Avalon) (script)[]
Determined to prevent the prophecy of the Fortune Jewel from coming true, the Jewel Riders travel to the Heart of Avalon to seek out the wisdom of the Lady of the Lake. For this they need the help of the Grandfather Travel Tree, the only one who can send them where they need to go; Lady Kale and Morgana get there first, nearly destroying the tree. Luckily the Riders are able to heal it, and the girls go through its magic tunnel to the shore of the mysterious Isle of Myst, where they are ambushed by Kale and Morgana who turn almost everyone to crystal statues. Only Gwenevere and Sunstar escape across a magical lake, where she is given the magic Staff of Avalon and instructed go to the center of the Wild Magic, where she would merge the Wizard Jewels into a new magical jewel for Merlin. Alone, Gwen makes a stand against the pursuing Kale and Morgana...
2-13. (26.) The Last Dance (The One Jewel) (script)[]
With help by Ian, Princess Gwenevere has managed to finally defeat Last Kale and to restore her friends, but Morgana stole the Wizard Jewels and heads to the center of the Wild Magic first. The Jewel Riders journey to there and confront Morgana for the control of the magic of Avalon. Morgana is trying to forge the Wizard Jewels together and create the One Jewel that will control all of the wild magic. The final showdown begins as the Jewel Riders battle Morgana in a series of magical events to determine the future of Avalon and the fate of Merlin. The Riders are winning when disaster strikes and Ian sacrifices himself to save Sunstar's life. Can Gwen pull herself together enough to create the One Jewel and save Avalon?
